Bolai Chand Mukhopadhyay was a Bengali novelist, dramatist, essayist and poet. Bolai Chand was the real name of his. But he is better known by the pseudonym “Banaphul” in literature world. Banaphul’s literary life began in 1915 by publishing a poem in the magazine ‘Malancha’ which was published from Sahebganj School. After that he wrote a lot of poem, novel, story, article etc. There are some list of his literary works- Trinakhanda (1935), Agni (1946), Dana (1948), Tribarna (1963), Jangam (1943), Prachchhanna Mahima (1967), Maharani, Manaspur, Se O Ami, Ganddharaj etc.
