Maxim Gorky (Born on March 26, 1868 – Died on June 17, 1936) was a Russian, Soviet writer, founder of socialist realist literature, as well as a political activist. He himself chose the name ‘Gorky’ which means ‘bitter’ as his literary pseudonym. He wrote a lot of famous book, of which ‘Mother’ is a timeless novel.
